VIENNA, VA (November 2006) – Serco Inc. won a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center San Diego (SSC San Diego). The technical and engineering contract has a $56 million potential value to Serco over five years.
Serco will provide systems development, systems and software engineering, test, evaluation, and system integration, fleet engineering support, logistics, training and technical publications for SSC San Diego’s Submarine Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) engineering support division. Serco has supported SSC San Diego and its predecessor organizations since 1990.
“With this contract, our customer now has access to a broader talent and capability pool, including Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 processes, that will help SSC San Diego support the joint warfighter in mission execution and force protection.” ,” said Kent Brown, Vice President of Serco’s Engineering Business Unit.
