Alliant has two flexible, easy to use options for placing task orders:
Direct Order / Direct Bill
Customers with access to an internal agency contracting officer (CO) may use the Alliant Direct Order / Direct Bill feature that allows COs who have an Alliant delegation of authority to place orders directly using the GSA e-Buy system. GSA maintains a list of authorized COs who have an Alliant delegation of authority. Obtaining a delegation is a simple, one-time process working with GSA’s Alliant Program Office.
Assisted Acquisition Support
Customers can also utilize GSA’s Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) to assist with all or part of the Alliant task order life-cycle including:
- Developing an Alliant task order statement of work based on your IT requirements
- Preparing a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-compliant acquisition strategy
- Managing the full Request for Proposal and source-selection process using GSA’s electronic acquisition systems
- Providing contract and technical project oversight services throughout the life of the task order, including financial management, billing, deliverable tracking, and task closeout.
Customers can work with either GSA’s regional distributed AAS staff or FEDSIM to obtain these acquisition support services. Contact your local GSA AAS staff to access these services.
